Lecture; Individual Biology, Science Snafu's & Burnout
Before we begin we must begin with challenging 2 different thought systems. One, that science is flawless. And two, that each of our bodies have individual needs. We will cover what burnout really is. The symptoms and stages of burnout. How you can recognize if you’re on the road to burnout. And what to do if you’re already there.

15 SESSIONS SPANNING SEVEN (7) MONTHS
SESSION 1 - INDIVIDUAL BIOLOGY, SCIENCE SNAFU’S AND BURNOUT
January 4, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST)
Before we begin we must begin with challenging two different thought systems. One, that science is flawless and we know how our bodies work. And two, that each of our bodies have the same needs. Once that’s established, we can cover what Burnout really is. The symptoms and stages of burnout. How you can recognize if you’re on the road to burnout. And what to do if you’re already there.
SESSION 2 - YOGA NIDRA / NSDR & ITS RELATIONSHIP TO SLEEP
January 18, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST)
You may have heard: Sleep is FOUNDATIONAL. However, with our lifestyles it can be difficult to really grasp the depth of truth behind this and why it matters you’re aware of your quality of sleep. From injury prevention to problem solving abilities to emotional regulation. We cover the heart of my work, Yoga Nidra aka NSDR and why this is such a powerful tool for our modern lives.
SESSION 3 - HOMUNCULUS, MOVEMENT AND THE FASCIA
February 1, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Robbie & Wibbs
We have a “little man” in our brain called the homunculus. Why is this important and what is its relationship to our sensorial experiences and motor movement? Utilizing Robbie’s work with Functional Range Systems™ (Kinstretch™) and Body by Breath™ and The Roll Model Method™, we discover ways that we can “draw a bigger map” of ourselves and the world around us to help our brain’s “see” and “feel safe” as we navigate our daily lives. Alongside Wibbs extensive experience with movement and the fascia we will have an even deeper understanding of the importance of finding play in the way we move.
SESSION 4 - NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION
February 15, 2025:10am - Noon (MST)
This is kinda a spicy word these days. To attempt to not fall under catch phrase thinking, I want to show you where things go right and possibly wrong in our bodies. To help you discern the very individual language of your body. What it's trying to say? And how you can help fulfill its basic needs without the need for certain terminology.
SESSION 5 - BODY TO BODY TO BEING CONNECTION
March 1, 2025:10am - Noon (MST)
One of my goals in this course is to teach you that there is no such thing as a mind-body connection. Your mind is INSIDE of your body. There is ONLY the body. When we can learn to build a relationship with our body, we can begin to create a connection. That connection is what helps guide us like a lighthouse to the “being” we are all seeking.
SESSION 6 - BIOMECHANICS OF BREATHING
March 15, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Robbie and Wibbs
Although you need more than one tool in the toolbox that maintains your body, your breath is your most versatile and powerful. The only other tool that comes close is Nature itself. You could even say your breath IS Nature. Since we no longer use our bodies for the kinds of movements we’ve been evolved to do, it’s important we begin with the basics. What’s supposed to move, what is less efficient.
SESSION 7 - BIOCHEMISTRY OF BREATHING
March 29, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Robbie and Wibbs
Since the breath is like Nature, it is as equally complex as it is simple. In this session we will learn about the role of chemistry and how you individually respond to your personal relationship to air hunger. How that relationship can define your reactions in daily life without your awareness. And what you can do about that.
SESSION 8 - SLEEP IS THAT IMPORTANT & SLEEP DISORDERED BREATHING
April 12, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST)
Like the breath, sleep is equally complex and simple. Due to its foundational role in our health & well-being, sleep is valuable enough to get 2 parts. Here we explore what occurs if our breathing patterns become disordered during sleep and the effects that can have. When it becomes a point where you may need to seek professional help.
SESSION 9 - LET YOUR BREATH GUIDE YOUR WORKOUT
April 26, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Robbie and Wibbs
Who doesn’t like good ole efficiency?! Learn the basics about how to use the GEAR system from SHIFT Adapt which have helped me become aware of when or where I may need to up-shift or down-shift my breath based on the type of activity I’m participating in and how my body responds to that activity.
SESSION 10 - IT’S MORE ABOUT THE SKIN THAN THE TEMPERATURE
May 10, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST)
Cold and heat exposures of all kinds have been so popularized that it's concerning how many people are not aware of what the actual benefits are, the temperature, time and most of all, the hazards. Everything is good for you, everything is bad for you. Let’s find out which practices are suitable for your individual body and circumstance.
SESSION 11 - MICROBIOME & NUTRITION
May 24, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Alysha
Did you know your body contains more non-human cells than human cells?! Learn from Alysha about the role the microbiome plays in our gut-brain connection, how this network of trillions of microbes is always responding to our environment, and signs we can use to assess the state of our own bio-individual microbiome. We'll discuss why there's so much more to nutrition than simply tracking macros, and how the food we eat is a direct line of communication to that microbial network (and therefore, our overall health!).
SESSION 12 - WATER, HYDRATION AND SOUND
June 7, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Robbie and Alysha
Dehydration impacts us more than we know, and there's more to fixing it than just drinking more water. Let's discuss best practices with Alysha for making sure that you're hydrated down to a cellular level. But before we do that, let’s talk about the mysteries of water and what science doesn’t know. Meaning, maybe hydration is even MORE important than we realize. Let’s get a bit explorative with Robbie about the effects of sound on such materials and possibly our bodies. Individually and collectively alike.
SESSION 13 - LYMPHATICS, VACUUM’S AND FLUID FLOW
June 21, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST)
Your lymphatic system is one of the most important—and often overlooked—components of your body’s health. It plays a critical role in fluid balance, waste removal, and immune function. We’ll uncover how the lymphatic system works, why it’s vital to your overall well-being, and practical ways to support it. We’ll also explore the physics of vacuums and fluid flow, connecting these principles to lymphatics. This session is all about discovering how small actions can have a big impact on your body.
SESSION 14 - HORMONES - OUR UNSUNG HERO’S
July 5, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST); Alysha
There's no talking about stress response or homeostasis without talking about hormones. We’re lucky to have Alysha to lead the way. Every function of the body is influenced by the endocrine system, including how we think and behave. It acts as a direct line of communication between our body and our environment. Here we'll discuss how to assess certain hormones, and how changing our environment and our choices can impact this sensitive system.
SESSION 15 - BUILDING HABITS AND COMMUNITY
July 19, 2025: 10am - Noon (MST)
None of this matters if we aren’t able to build a habit. How are habits tied to your identity? How can you build better habits? What is the role of community for your health and well-being? Let’s find out. Our last session together we will have a longer pow-wow and discuss some common issues we all experienced with building new habits. Together, we will get back up and try again!
